Customers say
Customers generally like the clean, modern appearance of these vent covers. Installation feedback is mixed: some buyers report a straightforward fit over existing openings, while others mention needing small duct or opening adjustments. Noise impressions also vary—some describe quiet operation, while others say airflow can get loud at higher stages. A few reviews also raise screw-placement and clearance concerns that can affect blade adjustment.

Purchased variation: 10x6 · White
Buyer installed a 10x6 white aluminum cover and says it blends well with modern farmhouse rooms. Installation over the existing opening was straightforward, with hidden screw holes and adjustable airflow blades called out. They report quiet operation with no rattling and a solid aluminum build suited to humid conditions. No drawbacks are mentioned in that review.

Purchased variation: White
Buyer likes the appearance but reports the mounting holes sit only about 1/4 inch from the flange, so screws tend to go into drywall instead of the metal HVAC boot. They also note screw heads can stick out far enough to interfere with the blades, and conclude the product should not be sold in that form.

Purchased variation: White
Buyer calls these a clear visual upgrade and generally easy to install after hammering down interior duct metal so the cover slides in. They note limited clearance over the screws, which makes blade adjustment difficult unless screws are fully seated and level. Overall satisfied, but they suggest the slot diffuser could be shortened by a few millimeters.

1. Measure the existing opening and confirm the selected size matches the duct or boot.
2. Confirm finish (White or Black) against surrounding millwork or paint.
3. Position the cover so the slots align with the intended airflow direction.
4. Secure with the included mounting screws. Do not overtighten into drywall or thin metal boots.
5. Adjust internal vanes if the model includes airflow control, then restore HVAC operation and check for rattle or edge gaps.
6. For custom lengths, unusual openings, or commercial spec work, contact Soknockk with dimensions and photos before ordering.
