1. Measure the existing opening and confirm the selected size matches the duct or boot.
2. Confirm finish (White or Black) against surrounding millwork or paint.
3. Position the cover so the slots align with the intended airflow direction.
4. Secure with the included mounting screws. Do not overtighten into drywall or thin metal boots.
